genz(ine): an beginner-friendly zine playground

by munusshih

"It's amazing how inexpensive a publication can be if it doesn't need to pay for writing, editing, design, paper, ink, or postage." —Mega 'Zines, Macworld (1995)

Description

This is a generative zine workshop taught by Iley Cao & Munus Shih. Our objective is to create a zine that focuses on digital identity and self-expression using programming languages and make coding and print accessible to everyone.

We will be using our customized open-source tool 'P5.zine' to teach function and let everyone remix our template easily. This workshop is welcome to everyone with different levels of knowledge in coding.
